The operator

Legendz is a US sweepstakes casino with strong traffic from affiliates and paid campaigns. In the sweepstakes model, the first conversion that matters is the first purchase: the moment a player buys their first coin package.

Getting players to the site was never the problem. The problem was what happened next.

The brief

Before scaling spend any further, Legendz wanted more first-time purchasers per dollar of traffic. Better unit economics, not more volume. They were paying for clicks that never became purchasers, and every one of those clicks had a price on it.

Three doors players were leaving through.

Session analysis found the drop-off concentrated at three specific moments, and each one needed a different intervention.

Mid-registration surprise

Unexpected form fields stopping players cold, halfway through creating an account.

Welcome-bonus confusion

Players unsure what the offer actually was, hesitating instead of claiming it.

The abandoned purchase

The purchase modal opened, considered, and closed without funding. The most expensive door of the three.

Grey is the leak. Magenta is the intervention returning the player to the journey. One for each door.

Three interventions, one for each door.

Catch the leave

Trigger: tab-close and back-button behaviour

The engine detected the exit the moment it started and fired a loss-framed overlay: the bonus the player was about to walk away from, presented as already theirs to lose.

WAIT. Your bonus is reserved. Don't leave without claiming it.

Settle the hesitation

Trigger: no typing, no scrolling, stalling on key fields

Hesitation mid-form is a question the page has not answered. Nudges reassured players around verification, clarified exactly what the bonus was, and reminded them how close they were to done.

Recover the almost-lost

Trigger: closing the registration or purchase modal

When a player tried to close the modal, a recovery campaign fired, tailored by product, geo and traffic source, and returned them to the exact step they left rather than the start of the journey.

Same traffic. Same affiliates. Same media budget. Different unit economics.
“We were spending heavily on traffic but knew we were leaking value in the funnel. iConvert helped us capture thousands of extra FTPs without touching our media budget. It's one of the highest-ROI projects we've run.”
Andrea Peterson Head of Acquisition, Legendz

Legendz fixed the funnel before buying another click.

A 20-minute conversion leakage audit will show you where your players drop, what iConvert could recover, and exactly how the uplift would be measured.
